ITANAGAR, Apr 04: Governor of Lt. General (Retd) K.T. Parnaik has greeted Arunachal Pradesh people, Galos in particular, on the occasion of Mopin Festival and expressed hope that the festivity would promote peace and communal harmony among all tribes.
“Mopin is one of the most popular festivals of the state, showcasing vibrant cultural legacy having deep roots in agricultural traditions. Mopin serves as a communal prayer for abundance and fruitful harvests. I am sanguine that this festivity would bring forth prosperity and bountiful yields to our society”, the governor said in his message and prayed Anyi Pinku Pinte to bestow her choicest blessings on the humanity.
